4-0 out of 5 stars Nice Small Fax Machine, November 30, 2007
Very compact, very good choice as long as speed is not a requirement. Not a heavy duty machine. Great for occasional faxes sent from home, small business, etc.

1-0 out of 5 stars poor product and poor service, August 4, 2008
HP 640 Inkjet printer is defective. When unable to begin operations based on set-up instructions in manual,
called HP Service number provided. After ultimately finding the appropriate tech service person, he prescribed various diagnostics to get machine operative. All failed. He informed me that it was defective.
HP refused to replace the new machine that was bought. HP said the only remedy was to return the defective new machine to them at customer's own expense. And that HP would only replace it with a used refurbish machine. Service people were rude and continually placed customer on hold. Poor product, poor service.

5-0 out of 5 stars great fax machine, December 31, 2007
This is our first home fax machine. It was easy to put together and the directions were easy to follow to learn how to operate it. We love it. We can fax things easily and we receive things easily. Highly recommend this fax machine, especially for the quality and the price.

3-0 out of 5 stars good for the $$; some frustrating features, July 27, 2008
    [...]

I found the machine somewhat difficult to set up & program in all the settings, my phone #, etc., that I needed to do; but probably no more difficult than other fax machines. And a major frustration: when you have it set to "auto", so it can switch between phone & fax, if you answer a phone call from a different phone, this keeps ringing & ringing thru-out the whole length of the phone call (???)--incredibly annoying.

But as I use it only occasionally, I just keep it unplugged until I need to use it. And for the $$, & esp. since it uses ink cartridges unstead of one of those awful film rolls like on my 5 y.o Sharp, it's probably a pretty good buy.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful home office fax machine, March 27, 2008
This attractive, compact fax machine is perfect for my home office. Set-up was so easy my dog could have done it! And I love the fact that it has an ink cartridge instead of the cumbersome ink roll that my previous machine had. I like everything about this small, easy-to-use fax machine!

1-0 out of 5 stars Sharing a phone line in auto mode does not work, April 27, 2009
While the HP 640 fax works on a dedicated phone line( and yes, it works on a Comcast line), the machine does not work on a shared line in auto mode. When recognizing a voice call, the HP 640 changes the ring tone to notify you of the incoming call. Nice...BUT, after an individual picks up the phone and begins a conversation, the fax machine continues to ring and attempts to connect to a carrier; which of course, is not there. We called HP and while they were responsive, they could not resolve the problem because it is a inherent flaw of the machine. The machine also does not work on a shared line with an answering machine.

    4-0 out of 5 stars A fine machine, but..., April 18, 2008
This machine works well, the display panel -- only 16 characters wide -- is very well designed, and the small footprint is perfect for home use.

Note, however, that it does NOT provide a speaker phone. The "Loudspeaker" button is just that - a loudspeaker, and not a speakerphone. Good for listening to voice mail, perhaps, but of no use if you want to talk.

4-0 out of 5 stars Its good enough, March 8, 2008
For the price I can say that it is worth it. I didn't like driving to Kinko's and paying a couple of bucks to fax something. This machine was easy to set up and works as advertised. I don't use it much and if I find out the ink cartridge cost $50, I'll just chunk the whole thing and get another one.

4-0 out of 5 stars Easy to set up and use, April 12, 2008
We don't need a fax machine often, but when we do this functions perfectly. Much better than going out and paying to have someone fax for you.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good little machine for light faxing, July 18, 2008
If you can get this machine for about 50 dollars, it's worth it for light faxing. The memory holds about 12 pages worth of documents so if you're a legal eagle who routinely sends 40 page faxes, buy something more heavy duty. But if you send and receive an occasional fax here or there, this is a nice machine with a very simple and compact design.

Print quality and speed are adequate and the machine does a decent job as a light duty copier as well. The one downside on printing is that the cartridges are expensive, about 30 dollars each and they print about 250 pages. There are no clone cartridges available that I can find. But you can find HP original cartridges on Ebay for about 15 dollars if you want to go that route.

    5-0 out of 5 stars Brother's FAX275, March 14, 2001
is great for home use. It's very easy to setup and the directions are straight to the point. Fax quality is wonderful for a little fax machine like this and makes good quality photocopies of documents. If you want a fax machine for minor faxing and great value for your money, I would suggest this.

    5-0 out of 5 stars Brother Fax275 Personal Fax & Telephone, June 19, 2008
Bought this after using older version with no problems for ~10 years.
    No ink cartridges needed.
Works well with manual answering machine.
    Small footprint.
Has speakerphone, caller ID, speed dial, redial, makes copies and more.
This nicer, updated version did not disappoint and appears to be another dependable workhorse and good value by Brother.

5-0 out of 5 stars Back to Basics, and the better for it, January 19, 2007
This fax/telephone is simplicity itself. It is great for light-duty, infrequent faxing -- exactly what I need for a home machine. No ink-jets to dry out if it stands inactive for a while. It is also extremely light weight. It's a pity that it has been discontinued. I'm buying a second one to have as a backup machine -- I hate the new, 10-ton wonders that have a million complicated functions I don't need. I hope some smart manufacturer -- perhaps Brother themselves -- will put it back into production. In my search for this one, I spoke to many sympathetic friends & colleagues who were sorry this kind of machine is no longer readily available.

5-0 out of 5 stars Nifty fax machine, March 29, 2005
The Sharp UX-B20 fax machine is easy to set up, does all that I want in a fax machine, prints on plain paper, and uses an ink jet cartridge rather than the hard-to-install roll of ink film. Also, the design of the machine is the "cleanest" and most compact I've seen. The ink cartridge is expensive, about twice as expensive as a roll of ink film. However, it will last about 500 sheets whereas a roll of ink film will only last about 250 sheets. So, the cost of the cartridge is very comparable. Rolls of film are usually about half the cost of the cartridge. Half the cost, but only half the number of sheets!! I like this machine!!

2-0 out of 5 stars Passable for the price, I suppose, February 11, 2006
I confess I don't think much of fax machines in general; they're painfully antiquated and I don't have much confidence in my transmissions -- but I'll try to separate that out from my review.

My wife needed a fax for her online retail business -- they're still a simple fact of life. This was the cheapest I could find given the rebate.
I ran out of ink quicker than I expected. There is no power switch and there doesn't seem to be a pass-through for the regular phone; I guess it's meant for a dedicated line. This necessitates a lot of cable-plugging when it's time to use it.

At one point, after about 5 months, it begun spinning its rollers and complaining of a nonexistent paper jam. After finding that there were no nearby service centers I was going to give up and find a new machine, but I found a FAQ on the Sharp site advising that I turn it on while holding down the Stop and Go keys, which worked.

5-0 out of 5 stars Good Machine!, August 3, 2005
Very easy to operate, good fax and print quality, and looks great.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent little fax machine and priced right., February 17, 2006
Ordered this through Amazon and was happy with response time and shipping. This fax machine is ideal for a small office/home office with a dedicated fax line. Believe it or not, I just replaced my old Sharp fax that used the thermal rolls which I prefer since no ink supplies were necessary. But so far this works great. It has way more features and funtionality than I will ever need since I just send and receive occassional faxes. Quality is excellent and set up was quick and easy. Footprint is small too so it doesn't take much desk space. I only have one small complaint. The lowest number of rings you can set it to when receiving a fax is 2 rings. I would prefer a Zero setting, so I don't have to hear it ring at all. But at this price, how can you complain? It's worth the $90 (including shipping.)

1-0 out of 5 stars Junk - If you want to, you could just throw your money out the window, May 22, 2007
This broke after about 20 sheets of paper. The intake doesn't work now and I have to hand-feed each sheet very carefully. Even then it only "takes" about half the time. It doesn't work for incoming because of this either. Total waste of money.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not as bad for a simple function fax machine but expect better from SHARP, January 26, 2007
I bought this fax machine simply to receive and send fax. Due to this simple reason i did not spend any time trying to figure how this fax machine might be different than other normal fax machine.

Well, one thing that i have realized in couple of the non-conventional fax machine like this one where it doesn't uses the old fax roll paper is that. The ink runs out real quick, despite its suggested amount of faxes or copies you can make with one ink replacement.

In addition to it's Hummer Like ink comsumption, i find the ink replacement rather expensive and it has cost me quite a fortune just to receive faxes from my parents(not even for office use). I have both send and reived approximate amount of 30 faxes and i am already on my second ink and about to change for the 3rd ink. I definitely would not suggest this for an environment that requires heavy duty tasks like office or else you will find it quite frustrating spending more money on ink than your fax machine after months.

In addition, the machine doesn't seem to eat the paper right when you send, so make sure you don't put a pile in at the same time. One other thing i don't like is that after every fax there is always the feekback which forces you to print it anyway and even if you try to press stop/cancel or even try to remove the paper it simply would to stop the machine from having the message of printing feedback.

Lastly, all I am doing here is do bring the worst situation that had happened to me to the people out there. If you look at most of my reviews for other products, you will tend to find my comments to be a bit pessimistic simplt because a lot of time i find it useful having to bring the worst and hope for the best that way you don't feel as bad after that.

But please do not be swayed by me or any of the other reviewers out there after seeing the low ratings or the not so good comments. All these reviews are supposed to be a reference, the actual product might differ amount different users despite of hardware or malfunction. Last but not least, most certainly do not buy items without doing research or at least looking at the reviews since some reviews might help.

    2-0 out of 5 stars Got a problem here, August 29, 2006
I purchased the fax machine on the internet for the purpose of making it my personal fax machine for home use. I have internet phone service and it seems that this fax machine doesn't do too well in the digital world. Tech support told me that sometimes it will work and sometimes not! Nowhere in the sales process was I informed about this little problem. Not even in the packaging that came with the machine. Not a happy guy.

4-0 out of 5 stars So far, so good, July 26, 2006
This fax machine has not been around long enough for me to give a really full assessment. However, I thought setup was a snap, the menus are easy to access and follow, AND it feeds pages better when faxing more than one sheet in comparison to a fax machine four times the cost! This is a nice, basic fax machine.

    5-0 out of 5 stars SLICK!, September 21, 2007
This is one slick piece of kit. Quite easy to to setup with a bit of network basics under your belt. Plug in phone line to a spare jack and then a CAT5 cable to a spare router port. I then manually entered static IP information into FAX machine (even easier if you use DHDP) and then setup options on FAX how I wanted it. To add, edit or delete email addresses, etc I then went to internet explorer, typed http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, which is the FAX machine's IP and used the internet based configuration page. Up and running in less than 10 minutes. I use PDF as the format and get pretty darn good quality documents. I used PDF because every computer should have adobe reader installed these days. Admittedly a bit more effort is involved to setup options specific to how you want to use it but I found it very, very easy to install and setup. No harder than any other FAX machine really.

I only FAX a few pages once or twice a week. For large business usage you may need to think twice on a larger more expensive make/model.

Pro : cheap price, duplexing, scans quickly, good scan memory size, relatively easy setup (maybe not so for a novice but instructions are clear and concise), don't have to use the somewhat expensive ink cartridges on the fax but have them go straight to email and then I print them on my laser printer ... the list of good points goes on and on and on ...

    Cons : None so far

1-0 out of 5 stars doesn't work with SMTP authentication, December 19, 2006
    This idea a real killer...
but the UX-B800SE is a partial failure.

Purchased one but returned it the 2nd day.

If your internet/email provider needs the SMTP authentication before sending out email, such as AT&T Yahoo!DSL and many of the major email service providers, you are stuck, period. There's no workaround.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent fax, January 12, 2007
I purchased one in Sams Club. I was hesitant after reading available reviews which were pretty discouraging. Anyway I deciced to give it a try. Out of the box everything was working perfect, connetion to the router was quick, I check IP address and was able to open web interface. Configuration of e-mail service was quick and easy. It is great to have all faxes in the e-amil. I am so glad that I decide to invest some time to try that smart machine.

3-0 out of 5 stars DO NOT PURCHASE UNLESS READY TO BUY SMTP2GO.COM, February 10, 2009
I spent many hours trying to get this to work on Verizon DSL. From what I read the same problem occurs with Comcast. Whatever the mechanics of the problem actually are, on Verizon/Comcast, you will only be able to receive faxes which will be emailed by this machine if you set it up to go through a private smtp server. I found that it finally worked (I was so happy) after I purchased a yearly account from [...]. Then I routed the emails through that server and it finally worked. It must originate from an email registered on your account with [...]. Now that I figured this out, I will not return the two machines that I bought for both my offices and through my blackberry I will always know when I receive faxes, which as a solo lawyer I find very valuable. The fact that they don't tell you all about this up front at Sharp (or offer the SMTP server re-routing) brought my rating for the item down, but I found it otherwise great, after 6 hours of effort to get it going. Maybe you all can save that time up front by reading this.

1-0 out of 5 stars very expensive ink cartridges, August 22, 2007
I bought this fax for home use and it is pretty complicated. Have not used the fax to email yet and probably will not. I barely went through 20 faxes and ran out of ink. Finding a replacement cartridge was not easy, office depot was out so I checked on line, cheapest price was about $33.00 plus shipping ---then I read the reviews on staples about this ink cartridge, Sharp claims over 400 sheets out of this cartridge but reviews say they can hardly get 100 sheets.....so I am returning the fax. Will research to find a more economical one.

4-0 out of 5 stars Broadband fax, November 26, 2007
Switched to a VOIP provider, after they assured me that my fax would work--it didn't. Saw this broadband fax-perfect. I've spoken to people whose regular fax works over the internet-others whose fax machines don't.
This Sharp Broadband fax works flawlessly with Optimum Voice.
Cablevision sales dept. just lied. Do a google search before you switch to VOIP-many people have fax issues.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Fax Machine Once Get It Working, September 28, 2007
It works like wonder. Operation of sending to email address could not be simpler. Fax is fast, smooth, and clear. The advantages of getting fax in email are numerous. Green to earth, no need to speed money on ink cartridge, eliminates clusters, etc.

The only catch is that you have to get it working, which needs a work around if email provider requires authentication.

After a few hours of goggling and a few lines of python, I got it working with my yahoo mail. The solution is to run a SMTP relay as listener for the fax machine, which then sends out the fax (email) out to email provider after adding SMTP AUTH.

It is very convenient once it is working. Besides, it is just cool.

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't even think about this machine if you really want the broadband features., April 13, 2007
Listen to the other reviews: OK as a basic, stand-alone fax, but the broadband function only works for ISPs that don't require POP authentication. It will not work in most places and more and more ISPs are switching, so chances are if it works now, it may not soon.

3-0 out of 5 stars Acceptable Performance, February 22, 2007
We've never used the e-mail/Internet capabilities, but as a basic fax machine this unit works pretty well. Don't believe the advertised life of the ink cartridges, though -- even using every ink-saving feature available, we only get about 300 pages per cartridge.

    4-0 out of 5 stars Broadband + VoIP - Landline = Sharp UX-B800SE, November 19, 2008
EmailThatWorks dot net works with the UX-B800SE and maybe the UX-D1200SE, both of which are on sale quite a bit. The company gives a free month of service to try it out and then it costs $30 annually, about $2.50 a month. To me, this small fee is worth it when the end-user (without a landline), is a computer novice and wants to make scans into PDFs. EmailThatWorks told me that they plan to continue to support POP before SMTP / LB4S / POP AUTH authentication for a long time to come. I'm not trying to plug this company, but their service works well with this device, especially for others who have struggled to get the UX-B800SE to work with their own ISP. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars As a network printer it works great, but..., August 22, 2006
I also have a problem with the printer creasing envelopes. It appears to shift the flap of the envelope slightly while feeding it through the fuser and the heat and pressure causes another crease about 1/8" offset from the original one.

I returned the first unit that I ordered because of a loud squeaking noise that developed while printing. The second unit also squeaks somewhat (Certainly more than my old mfc-8820D), but it doesn't sound like it's dragging a cat through the manual feed slot.

There's a big difference between this unit and my MFC-8820D in the scanning area. On my old printer, I could input an email address on the screen and it would forward the document to that address. This guy requires you to select a network computer and then sends the document there. A memory resident program needs to be running on the computer to process the received document...which is a worthless waste of memory space about 99.99% of the time when the computer is doing it's normal job. The memory resident process also conflicts with some HP network printer software and crashes on a couple of our systems, thus rendering them unusable with this scanner. Needless to say, the old way of doing it was much better.

In retrospect, and despite the 145,000 pages printed, I probably should have spent the $300 to replace the fuser on my 8820D instead of getting this unit. This one is much faster, but the other trade-offs - the lack of duplexing (known at the time of ordering, but the 8860DN wasn't yet shipping) and the dumbing down of the scanner firmware (unknown until received) are serious handicaps.

Oct 30, 2006 update - After about five month of use and about 20K pages printed, my printer is in the shop being repaired. The printer started making loud snapping sounds, like plastic gears stripping, whenever a page was printed...except that the paper jammed every time. The guy in the service center said that he has another identical printer in for repair and that it's the fuser unit that's shot. That would be easy to fix, except that they're on back-order and won't be available for a while. Sigh. I think my next printer will be an HP.

November 14, 2006 - I have to give Brother Service credit. 1000 pages post-repair and my machine broke again. They're shipping me a new printer. This will be my second replacement unit...hopefully this unit will be more solid as my warranty runs out in April.

November 25, 2006 - update - The replacement unit not only shifts the flap on envelopes, it puts creases all over them, rendering them completely unusable for any purpose. If there was a way to totally unwind this purchase, I would in a second. On the other hand, since design of this unit appears to have all the reliability of an alcoholic after a weekend on the town, I purchased the one year extended warranty.

February 10,2007 - update - Well, the machine is now starting to make loud snapping sounds whenever the paper tray is filled up to the full line. It also jams and refuses to feed paper whenever that happens. The solution (so far) is to only fill the paper tray half-full.

I really dislike this piece of junk...so much so that I bought HP for my new offices.

May 13, 2008 - final update - After limping along in the old office for the last year, the Brother finally died (again). The big question is whether to take it to recycling yard, where they would gently take it apart and salvage the parts, or take it to the local car crusher and watch it receive what it deserves. Alas, my ecological side is coming through and I'll recycle it. Oh well, it would have made a great YouTube video...

3-0 out of 5 stars The Brother MFC 8460N creases envelopes, June 19, 2006
I have been unable to get this machine to stop creasing envelopes. It looks quite sloppy and affects the print in places. At times it is better than others but usually I get a big crease across the bottom left corner and a smaller crease across the return address.

I have spent a lot of time on the phone working with Brother technicians to correct the problem. They had me flip up the #1 toggles in the back of the machine, try using many different kinds of envelopes, try changing the paper thickness settings, etc. One even suggested I get 20 pound envelopes but those are quite uncommon. The typical #10 business envelope is 24 pounds. I could not find any 20 pound envelopes in local stores or print shops.

I have had a problem hooking it up through my network with the ethernet connection. It worked for quite a while but stopped working and I could not get it started again, even by reloading the driver or with the new machine. This problem could be my network, not the machine. However, the rest of my network seems to be working fine. I have no problem hooking it up directly using the USB port.

Brother technicians were very nice and sent a second 8460N but it also creases envelopes, plus the automatic feeder does not work at times on this new machine.

Other than these problems, the MFC 8460N machine works well. The copies are clear, the fax works well and the scanner seems to do well.

Brother has told there is nothing more they can do unless they hear of more people having problems with their envelopes on this machine. By that time it will be too late because I am exchanging it for a different brand.

4-0 out of 5 stars Super fast little guy, March 30, 2007
We have been using this printer for a little over a month now at work where we print an average of about 100 pages a day and this little guy chugs through it like it was nothing. The best part of it all is the speed. It is quick to warm up and prints 30ppm, which is a billion times faster than our previous Brother printer (or so it seems). The print quality is excellent but so are most laser printers so that's not really a stand-out. As mentioned by everyone else here, the envelopes do get a little crinkled when they are printed through the printer but that beats our last brother printer that seemed to jam more often than not when printing envelopes. I have yet to have an envelope jam. A trade off (crinkled envelope to jammed envelope) we are willing to take any day. To print an enveiope you have to open a little door in the front of the printer to access the feed for it. Not a big deal but I thought I would mention it. So, why four stars? Well, the crinkled envelope issue mainly and also the plastic quality used to build the machine seems a little cheap (at least compared to our last Brother printer). Definitely not a big deal but warrants the four stars.

3-0 out of 5 stars Brother MFC-8460n Good for the price, November 6, 2006
We're running the Brother MFC-8460n on a Mac OSX network. It's printing is remarkably sharp and fast. Copying is great. The only complaint we have is that scanning is not high quality and cannot be shared over the network. There have been some intermittent problems with receiving FAXes; we prefer to receive faxes in our e-mail rather than print on the Brother. Sometimes this works and sometimes it doesn't. Most of the time it does.

1-0 out of 5 stars Engineering Flaw?, March 22, 2007
Recently, despite my recommendation of the Brother MFC-7820N, two of my clients decided to purchase the Brother MFC-8460N because of the faster print speed and legal-size scanning bed and, oh boy, what a mistake that was! Both customers have had almost identical problems; the unit doesn't recognize the paper tray intermittely and says 'no paper in tray' and the unit makes an annoying clicking sound just before and for several minutes after printing, copying or receiving a fax. That might be okay in a noisy environment, but in a home office or any place where it's reasonably quite this will drive you bananas. Brother tech support doesn't have a fix for either of these problems and so they shipped a refurbished unit, only the annoying clicking was slightly less noisy while the paper/paper tray (MP tray) issue has come back to haunt the replacement unit. My suggestion, go with the MFC-7820N or better yet, get a unit from another manufacturer because Brother does not seem to want to do the right thing which would be to replace this defective model with another model that doesn't have the engineering, design and/or manufacturing flaws that make the 8460N a lemon. I really wanted to give Brother a chance because I think that the 7820N is a terrific little all-in-one, but stay away from this unit.

3-0 out of 5 stars Brother MFC-8460n 30ppm Network Multifunction Laser Printer, November 3, 2006
the printer works well with regular fax line but is inconpatible with fax over internet protocol which is my preferred usage.

PC fax is difficult to setup

the envellope printing system appears to be defective as the envelope comes out sqiuzzed and crumpled

4-0 out of 5 stars Good machine so far..., April 20, 2008
I bought this machine specifically to print on envelopes and checks. It is the only laser all-in-one that has a multi-purpose tray at a good price. I was concerned that the snake paper path would not print well on envelopes, but there does not seem to be a unit with a nice straight-through paper path like my old HP 5Mp.

When I ran my first envelope, I was disappointed at the creases in it, so I visited the Brother web site and followed the extensive how-to. There are a couple of levers in the back of the machine you must flip and then using the network setup (control center 2) you set the MP tray to thick. Then let the machine crank through your stack of envelopes.

I just printed 200 heavyweight envelopes with NO creases. So it pays to read the tech support. The page goes on to state that if you are getting creased envelopes, you may need to be sent a new machine.

One problem I did encounter was a loss of communication (I'm using my MFC over an Ethernet connection), but cycling power brought it back on-line. Will tell you more as time goes on.

*** So here's the update. Still printing/faxing/scanning/copying just great. The network problem was that sleep mode was turned on. So I turned it off. Find sleep timer in the menu and then with the cursor on sleep time press the 'Secure' and 'Job Cancel' buttons at the same time. Then turn sleep off. And guess what? The machine goes 'idle' instead of 'sleeping'. It doesn't use any more power in 'idle' over 'sleep' according to tech support.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Multifunction Device, March 29, 2007
It was between this and the other brother mfc that performs duplex printing for my home office which two people use on a daily basis. We figured we didn't need the duplex (although we wanted it!), so we decided to save about 100.00 and go with this one.

I was very pleased with the construction, installation (XP) and documentation. Brother has a new customer in my organization. Coming from HP, I was acustomed to clunky software, and machines that wouldn't always perform as planned.

I couldn't be happier with this product and would recommend to all.

3-0 out of 5 stars Works great, except for envelopes!, December 25, 2006
Thankfully, I don't print many envelopes! Other than that I really like this machine. The scanning is decent enough, printing and faxing is fast and copy quality is high. For the money I think it's a pretty good value. But if you do want to print envelopes with any frequency, stay away form this one!

Update - there is actually an adjustment you can make very easily in the back if you are having problems with envelopes. Look in the troubleshooting section of the manual. After I did this envelopes printed with no problem! Change to 4 stars. Would be 5 if I didn't have to manually adjust for envelopes.

2-0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BOTHER, July 17, 2007
I assume other printers/copiers must do their jobs better than this one. The quality of the output is fine but I have constantly had to clean the drum (done easily, admittedly). The two worst features are its inability to print envelopes--at least five creases per envelope on every try--and the print/copy output comes out very curled and winds up on the floor. This printer appears unable to copy/print more than ten pages without pushing it into a messy pile or all the way onto the floor. And did I mention the high degree of curling of the output (I did, but I will do it again). As a small business I will not buy a Brother printer-assuming they all share these faults (admittedly could be wrong). I will search another company's product line. ... Read more
