Got all my HD channels back, June 3, 2009
When I upgraded my DirecTV to HD, whichever village my installer had just arrived from was shy one idiot. My HD channels were spotty at best and non-existent in wind. With this device and a ladder, I was able to quickly re-align my dish and improved my signal strength from 79% to 91%. All HD channels come through clearly now, even in a storm and through trees.

A couple of caveats, read the instructions carefully. The device pegged out at max gain when I tried to site it at the base of the dish. I had to splice it into the cable down near the ground to prevent interference from the dish. Also, it gets its power from the satellite receiver so you need to hook up both ends (duh) before you see any gain. If you don't hear a tone, you're not using it right.

Satellite finder meter, July 21, 2009
I bought this in connection with the RD9046 Winegard portable satellite dish. It worked fine. The problem was trying to get good info from Winegard and DirectTV as to which satellite and which direction was needed. Once I got good info the meter worked fine.

My DIRECTV system has 2 round dishes, each with a dual LNB. Both of my LNBs were damaged this Fall by birds pecking at the plastic cover, damaging them to the point where they each had to be replaced. This is a fairly sinple procedure, if you have the correct replacement parts. These replacement LNBs were shipped fom CA to WI, and arrived a day ahead of schedule. I replaced the units, and they're both working just fine now. Great service, good shipping and delivery time.

This was a replacement for my 16 year old LNB that suddenly stopped working.
This new one was an easy swap. It didn't require realigning the dish. It appears to be of better construction as it has no screws. A great product and well worth the small cost.

LNB replacement, July 6, 2010
I needed a replacement for the original dual LNB on my dish.I couldn't find a new dual unit until I ran a search and found a Amazon sellar that carries reclaimed used parts. The unit was quickly shipped and was in excellent condition. I installed it and instantly my Direct TV receivers were working again.

Cheap & Easy Satellite Signal Fix, June 3, 2010
We lost our satellite signal and determined it was was the old LNB by going up on a ladder and looking at it -- the plastic cover had disintegrated. Ordered this one and received a genuine RCA dual LNB in the mail a few days later. It's easy to remove the old one and replace with the new one. Signal came right back. No need for a costly service call.
